Domestic orders to the US and APO addresses $100 and over ship free. Gift cards, Specialty boxes and items marked 'Free Shipping' are not calculated in the $100 minimum. Orders containing items shipping from The Creamery are charged a separate shipping fee and will arrive in 2 packages.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST. 
Our turnaround time is as follows:
  • Orders placed by 12 noon EST will ship from our Fulfillment Center within 3 business days. 
  • Orders placed during sales and holidays we ask you allow 7-10 business days. Semi-Annual sales during Black Friday and our Birthday celebration, we ask you allow approximately 7-14 business days for order processing due to the large volume of orders placed. Orders do not begin to process until the last day of the sale. 
  • Hot Coco & Nosh Boxes ship within 5 business days of the release date given on the box.
  • Pre-Order items & Monthly Yoni Soap Stocking Event orders will ship within 5 business days of the pre-order date. Please check the product description for the release date.

Traditional imported African black soap. Ghanaians have been using black soap for centuries, because of the beneficial properties it has on the skin. The soap is made from burning cocoa pods and plantain leaves until they turn to ash. The Ghanaian women press the out palm leaves and coconut husks, expelling their oil. That oil is then mixed with the ashes and rain water and boiled. The black soap floats to the top and is scooped off and allowed to dry. The characteristic black color comes from the roasted plantains. The darker the soap, the longer the skins were roasted. This soap works wonders on various skin conditions, and is a great face bar, as well as a shampoo bar.

So Far, So Good

I was hesitant to try this product out. I've tried other "black soaps" and it didn't seem to do anything, but this one is actually working. It's not a harsh soap, so I have no complaints after using for 2 weeks.

AMAZING!!!

This is the best shampoo ever! I will never use commercial products again!!! It left my hair clean but not stripped, moisturized and luscious!!!! It lathers the really well and the smell is super subtle. I love love love this stuff! Black soap has always been one of my fav all natural products but now I'm more stuck on the stuff. Can't wait to try the other shampoo bars but this will be #1!

Love Love Love

My face had a breakout like a adolescent and I wanted to cry. I didn't want to use any unnatural products so I'm so glad I kept your site on hand. I order this and a Sample Box!! I've been using it now two weeks, and my acne is cleared up and dead skin is being removed. I am a happy customer!! My girl in Miami put me on and I'm glad she did!!
